Company History

Beginning in October of 1988, Casper's Electronics was incorporated. Starting, as most businesses do, as a hobby in the garage, the first product was offered for sale - a thumbwheel adjustable switch for the Buick Grand National EPROM.

Within 2 short years, Casper's was busy enough to take up a 2000 sq. ft. small office and warehouse space in Mundelein, Illinois.

After a few years, and expanding into the wire harness market, CASPER'S was out of space! With the addition of a few employees, we moved to a larger, 5,500 sq ft facility, just down the road from our first office we called home.

By this point in time, CASPER'S has been producing wiring harness for the aftermarket for a few years. There has always been a void in this market for plug-and-play wiring applications due to mating connectors not being available. CASPER'S began to step up to fill this void by designing and producing the first MetriPack 150 mates for the 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 way connectors. The first CASPERS brand connectors were brought to market!

While once again increasing employee head count, and delving into OEM markets, CASPERS was once again out of space. A move a few towns over to Lake Zurich, Illinois, in a warehouse/office space approximately 16,000sq ft. this new facility afforded us the opportunity to expand our capabilities. With in-house tooling, injection molding, and rapid prototyping equipment in place, CASPER'S was producing connectors and wiring harnesses facilitating many means of conversions and adaptations.

After completing a few large OEM projects, discussions among CASPER'S management and employees, the decision was made to relocate our manufacturing operations to Loveland, Colorado. New headquarters was set up in Loveland, and we were fortunate enough to bring 1/3 of our workforce with us! Now in a 22,000sq ft. facility, in the heart of beautiful Northern Colorado, with the sun above us and the mountains beside us, we are looking towards our next adventure!
